  1. Today marks another year a fallen brother in the music world has moved on to the Afterlife. A man who for me changed my life as a person, a musician and a song writer. Listening to him play and the songs he brought to the table really made me wanna step up my game more than I could even fathom! Being 13 years old and hearing those blistering drums in the intro to Chapter 4 made my jaw drop!! Never did I think I would be able to play drums like that ever but that was also fuel toy fire that it was time to push the envelop and become musician that I am now! This day 4 years ago was a day we all felt a blow to our hearts and an emptiness that a loved one had left our side, when in reality on this day we now celebrate the life and legend known as James Owen Sullivan "The Rev" and the legacy he left behind!! With songs like Almost Easy, Fiction, Afterlife, Brompton Cocktail and the everlasting A Little Piece of Heaven, he left us with a light so bright and songs so mind blowing that it will stand the test of time and empower the future musicians of the world for years to come! Though your life was a fictional story so you said, the reality is that you made so many laugh, smile, and realize there are still true musicians left in this world. No more do we morn or cry, we now raise a shot or a pint in cheers to you St. James!! You're not so far away in your little piece of heaven as you are the strength of the world in the second heartbeat of all of us who love you and respect you with all that you left behind!! All I can say is my friend, I never met you but thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! I know your boys are doing you proud as you look down from the skies above a with the biggest smile!! May your soul and your name live on foREVer and never will you be forgotten!! I'm just blessed I got to see you perform once on March 30, 2009 in Nashville! I will always remember that and again, you will be and are always loved and missed! May you have eternal rest and the whole A7X family is truly blessed to still feel your presence shining on everyone of us!! I love you man! R.I.P Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan (2/9/1981 - 12/28/09)
